The Fortified’s Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) program serves as the 24/7 security monitoring solution for healthcare organizations to monitor alerts, investigate, triage, and remediate security events. For example, when a potential issue is detected, a SIEM system might log additional information, generate an alert, and instruct other security controls to stop an activity's progress. The SIEM menu consists of the Dashboard, Escalations, and Alarms tabs.

  • Note: If the Escalations Only technology was selected during the SIEM service configuration, you will only have access Dashboard and Escalations tabs. The Dashboard tab will include only the Escalations by Severity, Client Mean Time to Acknowledge (MTTA), Client Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), Top Escalations by Count, and Escalation Volume metrics.
